Cosmotheka – a music hall end to the folk club season!

Fancy a little bit of what does you good? Then come along to the Ryburn Folk Club on Wednesday June 26th, to hear those Masters of the Music Hall, Cosmotheka.

From 1972 to 1999, Dave & Al Sealey were Cosmotheka, and made a huge name for themselves performing the songs of the Music Halls. They were considered by many to be the finest interpreters of the genre and appeared at venues across the country and around the world.

After the death of Al in 1999, Dave Sealey has now returned to the stage in many collaborations, and particularly a solo career, including one-man-shows of the work of Stanley Holloway and Max Miller. Now the next generation is taking part, and Dave’s son Dan Sealey, along with pianist Adam Barry have joined Dave to recreate “a lot of the old songs, with a new twist”.
