Here at Ryburn 3 Step we have been keeping some activities going despite the restrictions imposed by HM Government to combat the spread of COVID-19.  Unfortunately, because of the need for ‘social distancing’, we have been unable to offer any safe alternative to our Barn Dances.

We cannot say when we will be able to restart our monthly dance programme, but we are going to run a Virtual Barn Dance on Zoom this month.

On Saturday 17th April, Caller Nancy Potts, along with Diane Moody and Gordon Potts (Committee Band/Panajandrum amongst others) will be bringing dancing to our living rooms – with partners/families/cuddly toys. Nancy has spent her lockdown modifying dances for the Covid world.

Virtual doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. As with all our online events, we do not charge a fee for attendance, rather we ask that you make a donation to the performers. Details of how to do this will be in your joining email which you will receive shortly before the dance.

As one of the few remaining dance series in the country, we are very keen to restart our dances as soon as it is safe to do so.

Dancers of all ages and abilities are welcome, the main requirement is enthusiasm!

Our Dances are all listed on our Events Calendar. Please check the venue, timings, and cost for individual events on the EVENTS page.
