Every now and then friends pass through this part of the world and stop off on their way to rest on their journey. And when they do we often ask them to do us a “House Concert”.
House Concerts are intimate performances held at 103 Oldham Road, Ripponden. Usually they run from 8 pm to 9 pm, and are then followed by an open session of songs and tunes with the audience who are encouraged to brings their own instruments and play, sing, dance, or just sit back and enjoy.
Bring your own refreshments
We don’t have tickets or charge for entry to House Concerts, but we do welcome donations which all go to the visitor to help offset travel costs.
Numbers are limited to around 20, so reservations are recommended – phone Sue Coe on 01422 822569
or Email firstname.lastname@example.org
The House Concert with Rattle on the Stovepipe was wonderful. Three fantastic musicians and performers captivated a select audience with their effortless playing and interpretation of tunes, songs, and ballads.
Performers at House Concerts earlier this year have been Beverly Smith, Rattle on the Stovepipe, Gina LeFaux and Steve Turner.
