Barn Dances

Our dances are held on the third Saturday of the month from October through to April, when we go off to Folk Festivals and occasionally on holiday. Dancers of all abilities are welcome, the main requirement is enthusiasm!

In addition, one of our regulars, Dave Webster, runs both an early season dance and a late season dance at the same venue. See individual events for details.

Dances start at 8pm and continue to around 11.30pm unless otherwise stated.

Entry price: £9 (£8 Concessions)

Venue: Our usual venue for the Barn Dances is the Waring Green Community Centre, Garden Road, Brighouse HD6 2AX (map)
Please check the venue for individual events on the EVENTS page.

The dance on 15 April with Tenterhooks and Sue Coe was Ryburn 3 Step’s final barn dance of the 2016-7 season. The 2017-8 season begins on October 21st with Phoenix and Baz Parkes , but before that there will be dances at Waring Green on September 16th courtesy of Dave Webster and a village barn dance at the Victoria Hall in Ripponden on 29th September.
